Located in northwest Idaho, Potlatch is less than a half hour from the Washington border. The area was originally supported by the timber industry but now is home to numerous events and recreational opportunities. City parks and surrounding forests have hiking trails, biking trails, baseball fields, swimming facilities and four-wheeling trails. The area is also home to an abundance of rivers and lakes, where you will find fishing and white-water rafting opportunities.

Scenic Six Park

This park is run by the City of Potlatch and is located at the entrance to the town. The park has a playground, restrooms, picnic areas and baseball fields. It also has a depot that can be rented for events. The RV sites are pet friendly and have full hookups for water, sewer and electric. The large park is ideal for self-contained vehicles and family camping. The location is minutes from shopping and dining in Potlatch.

Pine's RV Park

Located in the town of Harvard, this RV park is 8 miles from Potlatch. In the park you will find a camp store, miniature golf, laundry facilities, a recreation hall, showers and restrooms. The park has 27 sites with hookups for water, sewer and 20- and 30-amp electric. It also has wireless Internet and satellite hookups accessible from each site. The park is open year round and is an ideal base camp for visiting northern Idaho and eastern Washington.

Palouse RV Park

Located in Palouse, Washington, this RV park is only 10 miles from downtown Potlatch. The park is run by the city of Palouse and sits within walking distance of the historic downtown area. It is also a short 20-minute drive to the communities of Moscow, Pullman and Colfax. It has several large pull-through sites that can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet. Sites have hookups for water; sewer; and 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric. The park is pet friendly and has a 14-day maximum stay plus an additional 7 days available on request.
