Mount Shasta City KOA
This campground is set at the base of Mount Shasta, at 3,500 feet of elevation. It offers camping year-round, with pull-through facilities for RVs up to 80-feet long, tent camping sites, and one- and two-room KOA Kamping Kabins. A pool is available during the summer, and other on-site amenities include a snack bar, laundry, shuffleboard, a playground and wireless Internet. Local activities include rafting, golf, hot-air ballooning and winter sports. Hiking and fishing are available on site and nearby in the greater national forest area.

Lake Siskiyou Camp-Resort
This seasonal campground is open from April to October but is weather dependent, so call for confirmation at the beginning and end of the season. It offers 600 feet of lakeside exposure and 250 acres of pine forests and camping. More than 300 RV slots are available, and you can rent your own RV for a weekend or a month. Kayaks, canoes and paddle wheelers are all also available for rent. A large gift shop and deli is on site, as well as a recreation hall and a covered patio. Connecting sites are available for group rentals. A marina is also on site with bait sales and a boat ramp for fishing enthusiasts.

McCloud Dance Country RV Park
Located at the base of Mount Shasta, this RV park offers grassy spots for tent camping, plenty of RV sites and camping cabins. The campground is open from March to November and offers facilities that can handle even the largest big-rig RVs. Two trout ponds are on site for anglers, and other amenities include wireless Internet access, full hookups, a group barbecue area, laundry facilities, free hot showers, camping supplies and a gift shop.
