Mira Loma has little in the way of RV camping options, but nearby communities are filled with RV park options that include amenities ranging from on-site supply shops to the ability to accommodate big rigs. Neighboring Orange County offers numerous recreational pursuits and visitors can sample everything from mountain hiking to ocean diving.

Canyon RV Park

Canyon RV Park is in Anaheim, 33 miles southwest of Mira Loma. The park sits along the Santa Ana River, occupying 63 acres of the Featherly Wilderness Preserve. The park offers 140 sites with 50-amp electric service. Some sites accommodate double slide-outs and 45-foot RVs. Each spot has a picnic table and fire ring. Firewood and propane are sold on-site. Travelers can swim in the park swimming pool or bike to the Pacific Ocean by following the Santa Ana River Bike Trail, adjacent to the park property. Only 20 miles away, Huntington State Beach also has a bike trail. Visitors to Huntington can skate or surf along two miles of beach.

Terrace Village RV Park

Grand Terrace is less than 14 miles east of Mira Loma and home to Terrace Village RV Park. Terrace Village sits atop a plateau, affording guests scenic views of Blue Mountain. The gated park has 53 paved sites, but no pull-through options. Cable TV and high-speed wireless Internet access are available, along with 20/30/50-amp electric. The park provides a heated pool and spa on-site, or you can head to the ocean for a swim in the Pacific. Corona del Mar State Beach is 50 miles from the park, a good choice for a day trip. Corona del Mar has swimming along a sandy beach with a dramatic cliff backdrop.

Anaheim Resort RV Park

Anaheim Resort has 150 RV spaces, each providing full hookups with 20/30/50-amp electric. The park offers pull-through sites and can accommodate both slide-outs and big rigs up to 50 feet long. Wi-Fi service and cable are available, and RV supplies are sold on-site. The clubhouse has a big-screen television, book and video exchange, and a computer room for guest use. The park has several designated areas for pet use and a heated pool and spa for patrons. For travelers who enjoy coast and canyon, Crystal Cove State Park has both just 23 miles from the RV park. Hike along the beach, scuba dive or head inland to bike along the canyon trails.
