Manitou Springs, Colorado, is nestled in the foothills of Pikes Peak. Hiking and rock climbing at Garden of the Gods, biking and trail running at Red Canyon Park and rafting down Clear Creek are just some of the recreation opportunities around the area. RV parks in Manitou and the surrounding areas offer full hookups and are centrally located in the heart of an outdoor playground.

Pikes Peak RV Park & Campgrounds

The Pikes Peak RV Park is just 1 mile away from Cave of the Winds and half a mile from Balancing Rock in Garden of the Gods Park. Guests can hike, bike, jog and horseback ride through the Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks Canyon Park nearby. There are also nature trails directly behind the park.

Water, sewer and electric hookups with free Wi-Fi and cable are available at each site. Amenities include picnic tables, laundry and showers. Pets are welcome, and RV supplies and a convenience store are on site. The campground is within walking distance to town, and the park has winter and summer rates.

Garden of the Gods Campground

Located within Garden of the Gods Park, the Garden of the Gods Campground is a playground of trails, pathways and climbs. Cycle through the park, hike and run on the gravel and concrete trails while exploring rock formations or rock climb your way to the top of the many technical routes.

The campground has full hookups with either 30- or 50-amp electrical service, wireless Internet, cable TV, full laundry and shower facilities. There are two heated pools for family and adults and also a hot tub. Park events from ice cream socials to pancake breakfasts happen throughout the year. The RV Park is pet-friendly but check for breed restrictions.

Goldfield Campground

Open year-round, the Goldfield Campground is less then 10 miles from rafting on Clear Creak and less then 30 minutes from hiking at the Seven Falls. Tennis courts and a bike/jogging path are just south of the campground in Bott Park.

There are 50 sites total with 13 pull-through all with full hookup of 30- or 50-amp electric. Private showers a dump station and laundry facilities are on site. Guests can also enjoy cable TV and Wi-Fi. Call for seasonal rates and the park's pet policies.
