RV Parks in Apache Junction, Arizona

RV Parks in Apache Junction, Arizona
Even the name sounds invitingly remote: The Superstitions Mountains. Locals always call them word "The Superstitions." It may be a sign of respect for the mountains' sacred status with native Americans, or its beyond-description formations, wild-flower meadows, adventure, wilderness, and legend awaiting hikers into heart of the mountains. Trails abound all sides of the The Superstitions. Like much of the Arizona landscape, the mountains change colors with the day's passing. After the treks, there are three major lakes in close proximity for boating, swimming, or recreation: Roosevelt, Canyon, and Saguaro. Apache Junction is the staging area for all of this. Nearby Lost Dutchman State Park and its campground close in June, 2010, due to state budget cuts.
