You can reach these pads over well-maintained gravel roads. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, laundry and a propane station. Bienville National Forest is about an hour away. This 1.1-million acre preserve is home to several miles of hiking trails and offers excellent opportunities for fishing, swimming, canoeing and mountain biking.

Bonita Lakes RV Resort

Gravel roads kept in fine condition lead you to the 81 level concrete sites, with 78 offering full hookup including water, sewer, cable TV and 30/50-amp electric. The other three differ only in that they offer satellite TV instead of cable. Facilities include six private showers and four private baths. The laundry building has two washers and dryers. On-site recreation includes a swimming pool. Just two miles away, you'll find hiking and biking trails at Bonita Lakes City Park. A golf course is just six minutes away. Pack your rod and reel, and you won't even need to leave the property to catch some fish if you take advantage of the private fishing pond.

Nanabe Creek Campground

Take interior gravel roads to the 50-gravel sites with full hookup including water, sewer, cable TV and 30/50-amp electricity. You can also find very long shady pull-through sites. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, and laundry. About 20 miles away is Chunky River, which is a tributary of the Chicakasawhay River and provides excellent opportunities for canoeing or tubing. You can also get in some fine fishing if you know how to go after fish in a shallow river setting. Long Creek Reservoir is just a few miles away and offers the chance for water activities that include fishing, swimming and kayaking.
