RV Campgrounds in Parker, Arizona
Parker is located in Western Arizona. It is a popular location for visitors because of easy access to the Colorado River. There are numerous opportunities to rent a boat or go fishing, and there are lots of excellent hiking and opportunities to spot local wildlife like the big horned sheep or turkey vultures. If you are traveling by RV, you'll find a few campgrounds around Parker featuring facilities with full hookups.

Buckskin Mountain State Park

Buckskin Mountain State Park is located between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam in Parker. There are 89 sites in total; 17 have full hookups, 51 have just water and electricity and 21 have only electricity. Electricity for the RV sites is 20 amps. Other facilities at the campground include a dump station, convenience store, propane, marine gas and grills. Buckskin Mountain State Park is home to a large network of trails, including the Buckskin trail, which is a mile long loop. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, which offers excellent opportunities for swimming, rafting and fishing.

River Island State Park

River Island State Park is located just a mile away from Buckskin Mountain. The park has just 37 sites, all with water and electricity (20/30/50 amps). There's a dump station, marine gas, grills and even hot and cold water showers. Overlooking the Colorado River, you'll find excellent fishing, particularly bass, carp and catfish. In addition, there is a boat ramp and some excellent hiking trails nearby such as the Wedge Hill trail, which overlooks the river. Pets are welcome at both the Buckskin Mountain campgrounds, and both are open year-round, but the maximum stay is 15 days.

Castle Rock Shores Resort

Castle Rock Shores Resort is located close to Parker Dam next to the Colorado River. The resort has 270 sites, all with full hookups. They offer 20/30-amp electricity, with 50 amps (and cable TV) available for additional fees. Other amenities include Wi-Fi Internet access, RV storage, laundry facilities and picnic tables. Other amenities include a rec room, shuffleboard courts and putting greens. The resort is open year-round and pets are welcome, but there are breed restrictions. With its proximity to the Colorado River, this is an excellent spot to try some river fishing. In addition, there is a boat dock nearby, a beach area and lots of opportunities for hiking.
