Riverview Campground
Taking up more than a mile along the banks of the Rifle River, the 120 wooded acres of the Riverview Campground in Sterling border a state forest. As a result, tubing, canoeing and kayaking are among the activities directly available to guests. Canoes and kayaks can be rented nearby. Hiking and biking trails are nearby. This campground offers volleyball, playgrounds and a recreation center. The newest bathroom facilities were completed in 2009, and a laundry is on-site as well. Rentals include campsites, RV sites--with seasonal hookups for long-term guests--as well as camping cabins.
