Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a popular tourist destination. There are so many things to do in the area such as amusement parks, more than 100 golf courses, Ripley's Aquarium, miniature golf and Brookgreen Botanical Gardens. Other outdoor fun includes body surfing in the ocean, walking the beach in search of sea shells or fishing off the pier and boat charters. Several RV parks are located in town, with a few more in neighboring communities such as Surf Side of North Myrtle.

Myrtle Beach KOA was opened more than 40 years ago and is still going strong. On-site benefits include a snack area, event space, propane service, Wi-Fi, restrooms, bathhouses and laundry facility. There are many activities to keep you and your group entertained while staying at the campground including swimming at the outdoor pool and splash area, playing on the playground and fishing. Other recreation includes a climbing wall, outdoor movie theater, hay rides, game room, bike rentals and more. There are RV and tent sites as well as cabin rentals. RV sites come with full hookups and cable TV and phone connections. Some pull-through sites are available.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, situated on the ocean, offers guests many amenities such as laundry facilities, bathhouses, a gift shop, camp store and restaurant. A rec room is on site with games and activities. Other recreation includes indoor and outdoor pools, a lake for fishing, game room, playgrounds, planned activities and picnic sites. RV sites have such features as full hookups, cable TV and electric.

Apache Family Campground

The Apache Family Campground in Myrtle Beach is located on the beach and offers many recreational choices for guests. You can fish on the campground's pier, play in the game room or check out the playground. Live entertainment is performed during the summer season and planned activities are scheduled for varying ages. Campground amenities include a restaurant, swimming pool, basketball court, laundry and restrooms. Sites include full hookups.
