Bistro 135 Jazz Lounge and Restaurant
If like your dinner with a side of jazz, then Bistro 135 is the place. Open Tuesday through Saturday, this lounge offers a menu that includes goat cheese and arugula ravioli, filet mignon, Chilean sea bass, and drunken pork kabobs. Bistro 135 features several fixtures of the Rochester jazz scene. Regular players include the JazzDawgs, a quartet that plays both contemporary tunes, classic standards and their own originals, as well as Russell Fielder, a bass baritone vocalist whose been compared to Lou Rawls and counts Duke Ellington and Nat King Cole among his inspirations. Every week, you can tap your toe, sip some merlot, and wind down with "Wine Down Wednesdays."

Water Street Music Hall
Located in the St. Paul Quarter entertainment district, this live music venue opened its doors in 1977 but only became the Water Street Music Hall in 1999. It features 3000 square feet of space to rock out and cut a rug, taking full advantage of its sturdy bricks-and-mortar style when the beats get heavy.

The Blue Room
The Blue Room is located in Rochester's entertainment district, less than 10 miles from Henrietta. It's a lively two-story bar with many of the usual trappings like drink specials, dartboards, big-screen televisions and gaming favorites like Golden Tee.
