Onoway, Alberta Hotels

Visit the village of Onoway, Alberta, Canada where outdoor activities like fishing, boating, canoeing, water skiing, sailing and swimming can be found. Onoway only became a town in 2005. Visitors to the area will find annual events including Heritage Days and the Birkebeiner. Situated just east of Lac Ste. Anne and south of the Sturgeon River, Onoway has several small hotels surrounding the area.

Sitting just 10 minutes outside Onoway, visitors to the area will find the Wabamun Lake Inn. The inn is surrounded by seven golf courses and a host of outdoor activities including many water sports on the lake. Ramada Inn

The Ramada Inn is located just over 13 miles from Onoway in the little town of Stony Plain. Amenities include an indoor heated pool, restaurant, free high-speed Internet service, whirlpool and sauna. Each of the rooms is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, free daily newspaper and cable television. Allen Beach, Spruce Grove, Spring Lake and Hasse Lake are all within 15 miles of the hotel. Besides water activities, the winter months have activities like cross-country snow skiing and snowmobiling nearby.
