South Carlsbad State Beach
South Carlsbad State Beach has sites for RVs and tents. Because of the beach's popular in the summer, reservations (reserveamerica.com) are highly recommended. Token-operated showers and bathrooms are on-site. Pets are allowed, but not on the beach, and they must be leashed at all times. There is Wi-Fi at the beach campground. Campers will be able to fish, snorkel, surf, scuba-dive, and kayak right from the campground.

San Elijo State Beach
Snorkelers and Scuba divers will appreciate the reef just offshore at San Elijo State Beach. There are sites for RVs up to 35 feet in length and tents. The grounds have showers and bathrooms, and fresh-water spigots for drinking. There is a dump station on the grounds for RV camper use. Pets are allowed at the campsites on leashes but not allowed on the beach. Surfing, fishing, swimming and kayaking are available from the beach area.

Paradise by the Sea RV Park
Paradise by the Sea provides opportunities for sea-kayaking, surfing, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving, and beach-combing right from the campground. Paradise by the Sea's full-hookup (30 and 50 amps) sites can accommodate RVs of most sizes and offer Wi-Fi and cable TV. Guests have access to the hot showers, toilets, group areas, picnic tables and barbecue sites, laundry room, and recreation room. Pets are allowed if leashed. Day trips from the Paradise by the Sea are San Juan Capistrano where visitors can watch the swallow migration, or visit the historic buildings in the town square.
