RV Parks Around Southbend, IN

South Bend, Indiana, is probably best known as the location of the University of Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish football games are a major event, drawing thousands of fans to every game. South Bend has a lot more to offer than football games, including the East Race Waterway, the first man-made whitewater rapids facility in North America, and the Rum Village Nature Center, which has hiking trails and bird watching.

South Bend East KOA

South Bend East KOA has plenty to offer visitors, including a nature trail, bike rentals, game room, mini-golf, and a playground. It has 120 RV sites with a maximum pull-through length of 60 feet. Full hookups with 50-amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV are available. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the facility. A swimming pool is open from May 22 to Sept. 7. LP Gas and firewood are available for a fee. The site also has food service, and guests can use the laundry, showers and bathrooms. Pets are welcome, and dogs will enjoy the dog playground. The South Bend KOA is open from April 1 -to Nov. 23.

Beaver Ridge Family Camping

Beaver Ridge Family Camping has a pool, volleyball and basketball courts that guests can use during down time. It has 110 pull-through sites and can accommodate big rigs. Hookups with 30- and 50-amp electric and water are available, but there is no sewer or cable TV hookup. The facility does have a dump station. Free Wi-Fi can be accessed from anywhere on the grounds. Showers, bathrooms and laundry are available to guests on site. Pets are welcome, and a dog walk area is on site as well. Beaver Ridge is open from April 15 to Oct. 15.

Lakeside RV Resort, as is hinted by its name, has waterfront access on the shore of Hudson Lake. In addition to swimming, boating and fishing on the lake, guests have access to a swimming pool. It has 90 sites with pull-through access, and some can support big rigs. Full hookups with 30- and 50-amp electric, water and sewer are available. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the facility. Showers, bathrooms andlaundry facilities are available. Lakeside is open year-round.
