The long stretch of sugary white sandy beaches in the Navarre area opens up a host of potential for RV travelers who love water sports and activities. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico allow swimming most of the year and always the opportunity to reel in marlin and other big fish.

This Navarre RV resort puts you midway between the opportunity to relax on the beach and watch the Blue Angels practice overhead in Pensacola and the pristine aquamarine waters of Destin. Excellent paved roads lead to paved sites with full hookup including 30/50-amp electricity, water, sewer and cable TV. The swimming pool is large and surrounded by a nice deck with lounge chairs. Facilities include bathrooms, showers and laundromat with plenty of appliances. The large pavilion is used for RV club rallies and other social gatherings and features a spacious deck used for cookouts. Bring you pet--there are two areas set aside for walking the dog. You are close enough to the beach to walk the rentable kayaks out to the water.

Navarre Beach Campground

Navarre Beach Campground hosts 135 full-hookup sites with 50 pull-through sites. Amenities include free cable TV, patios and picnic tables. On-site activities and recreation include a heated swimming pool and hot tub, a playground for the kids, shuffleboard court, game room with video arcade consoles and pool table, and rec hall with a fully equipped kitchen. Pack your best tackle, rod and reel, because there is a fishing pier on site. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, laundry and an RV supply store. There are also computers to use in case you don't have a laptop to take advantage of the free wireless Internet service.

Magnolia Beach Campground

Magnolia Beach Campground has 50 sites located on 4.5 acres of land. All sites feature 30/50-amp electrical, phone and cable TV. This park is situated right on the water and offers 400 feet of private beach with an observation deck. Activities that take advantage of the calm waters of Santa Rosa Sound including swimming, kayaking and windsurfing. Pets are allowed as long as they are not over 15 pounds and kept on a leash at all times. About 30 minutes away in Pensacola you can tour the National Museum of Naval Aviation, or you can head in the opposite direction and snorkel or scuba dive beneath the amazingly clear waters of Destin.
