Principally known for hosting the Masters golf tournament every year, Augusta is a city of about 190,000 on the Georgia/South Carolina border, which is delineated by the Savannah River, a site of plenty of boating and fishing. There are several campgrounds in the area for people to park their RVs during the Masters.

Flynn's Inn Camping Village

Flynn's Inn Camping Village, located on the southern end of Augusta, has 65 pull-through sites with tree shade. The site has full hookups with 50-amp electric, water and sewer. The facility has one shower and offers public bathrooms. Pets are welcome. Flynn's tends to fill up quickly during the Masters, so call ahead for reservations.

Heritage Mobile Home and RV Park

Heritage Mobile Home and RV Park has 75 sites and can accommodate both big rigs and smaller rigs. All the sites are back-in. Heritage is the closest RV park in Augusta to the site of the Masters. The park has full hookups with 50-amp electric, water, sewer, and cable TV. Showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities are also available. Pets are welcome. Some of the sites have tree shade and grass.

Fox Hollow Camp Ground

Fox Hollow Camp Ground is a smaller campground on the southern end of Augusta that has 21 RV back-in sites with full hookups, including 50-amp electric, water and sewer. Many of the sites are shaded. Fox Hollow also has bathroom and shower facilities, and pets are welcome.
