Rockbridge, in the south-central region of Ohio, is a popular tourist destination thanks to it close proximity to the Hocking Hills State Park System and Clear Creek, which is a part of the Columbus Metro Parks network around the state's capital. There are lodges, cabins and small cottages all around Rockbridge. Note that some of these establishments are so exclusive and private that they will not divulge the actual addresses of their cabins until reservations are made. Reservations may be made through the provided websites, or by phone.

Thunder Ridge Cabins

The Thunder Ridge owners offer what they call a "different type of bed and breakfast". Guests can choose from three cabins that sleep between two and four people, two of which feature private decks with Jacuzzis. Single rates are available, pets are not allowed, and each booking includes a full country breakfast at no extra cost. Directions and a map are available on their website.

Agape Ridge

This small establishment consists of one log home, capable of sleeping four adults. The home has a full kitchen and bath, and two bedrooms. Satellite television with a DVD player, VCR and a stereo provide indoor entertainment. Other features include a deck with a Jacuzzi that can accommodate six people, a wood-burning fireplace in the dining room, a grill and campfire ring, and access to a private lake.

Hiding Place Cabins

The two available cabins, called the Nest and the Loft, respectively, boast fully equipped kitchens and charming country interior design. Both cabins feature private hot tubs and offer amenities including central heating and air conditioning, fireplace, grill, satellite television, DVD players and stereos.

Clear Creek Ridge Cabins

For larger families and groups, or those that just like a lot more space, this establishment offers large cabins that sleep up to 16. The four available cabins include the Bentree Cabin (accommodates up to 16), Granny Ann's Cabin (up to 14), the Big Hollar (up to 6) and the Ridgetop (also up to 6). These authentic log homes have been hand built by local craftsmen; all have hot tubs and fireplaces, and all are well-equipped with various other amenities.

Harvest Moon Cottages

Choose between five cabins nestled in the rugged forests of the Hocking Hills. The largest of the cabins has three bedrooms, while the others have two. The property borders the Hocking Hills State Forest and is close to a stocked pond for fishing, and the Hocking Hills Rappelling Area. All of the cabins are equipped with full kitchens, fireplaces, leather furniture, satellite televisions with DVD players, and stereos.
