The Gite de la Cathedrale Bed and Breakfast is right in the heart of St. Boniface, and it's a short walk from Provencher Park, the recreational center of the community. This three-room inn has a bilingual staff (French and English) that will direct you to area attractions. The inn is a great stop for the traveler on a budget; the low room rates are easy on the wallet. Included in the rate is a breakfast that includes think omelets, French toast or waffles each morning.

Norwood Hotel
On the southern end of St. Boniface, but still a short walk to most of the area's major attractions, is the Norwood Hotel. The Norwood has been serving travelers going through Winnipeg since the late 1800s. The hotel doesn't seem its age, however; it is up to date with Wi-Fi throughout the building and office space in each room. In the morning, eat at adjacent breakfast nook the Jolly Friar Cafe. The Wood Tavern & Grill has live music during the weekends and a local seafood buffet every Saturday.
