A small city in Southwest Georgia, Leesburg is near thousands of acres of natural spaces. Area attractions include the 800-acre Parks at Chehaw featuring a BMX track, and a 100-acre wild animal park accredited by the American Zoo Association, known as the Chehaw Wild Animal Park, as well as Lake Chehaw, a 1,400-acre man-made lake with boating, fishing and water skiing. After frolicking in the outdoors, take shelter in one of the motels in or near Leesburg.

Fair Fax Motel

The only motel within city limits, the Fair Fax Motel's amenities include Internet access, cable television and laundry and valet services. Pets are allowed in the motel, and rooms including a full kitchen are available. The motel is approximately six miles from the Parks at Chehaw, as well as less than 10 miles from Southwest Georgia Regional Airport, for those flying to the area.

Motel 6

Just outside of Leesburg, you'll find the slightly larger city of Albany, Georgia, where there are a host of motels, including Motel 6 of Albany. This motel is just over five miles from the Parks at Chehaw and 14 miles from the center of Leesburg. The motel offers free coffee in the morning, expanded cable channels and allows kids to stay free. Pets also are allowed on the property.
