Williams, Arizona, is 60 miles south of the Grand Canyon on Route 66. Local recreation includes camping, hiking, rock climbing, and fishing in the Kaibab National Forest and the Bill Williams Mountain Area. The town plays up a western-style theme and the Grand Canyon Railway runs trains to the Grand Canyon National Park from the depot in the center of Williams.

Canyon Motel and RV Park

This park is one mile outside of town and is housed among 13 acres of grassland hillsides. Sites are available with 20-, 30- and 50-amp electrical and can accommodate larger rigs with 26 pull-through sites. Facilities include a recreation room with a full-kitchen, an indoor heated pool, laundry facilities, picnic area, fire pits, and a playground. Pets are welcome; seasonal and weekly rates are available.

Railside RV Park

The Railside is near dining and shopping, and the park offers a complimentary shuttle into town. Facilities include 30- and 50-amp electrical hook-ups, propane station, restrooms and showers, a playground, fire pits, picnic tables, and a gas barbecue grill available to guests. This park also provides scheduled programs such as summertime outdoor movies, weekend cookouts and a complimentary continental breakfast. Weekly and monthly rates are available.

Grand Canyon Railway Park

This park is within walking distance to the Grand Canyon Railway Depot. Rigs up to 90-feet can be accommodated at many of the 101 full hook-up sites and 50-amp electric is available at 30 spaces. Park amenities include pavilions with gas grills, community fire pit, basketball and volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. An indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi are also on site. Grand Canyon tours can be arranged through the camp hosts and the park is next to a gas station and convenience store. Pets are welcome and a pet-sitting service is available.
