Munds Park RV Resort is a seasonal facility that welcomes guests from April 1 until November 1. This is a large resort, with 370 spaces; 335 have full hookups with 30- and 50-amp electrical service. The wide spaces will accommodate rigs with double slides. The amenities include a general store, two laundry facilities, wireless Internet access and cable television. Guests can relax in the heated pool and hot tub or enjoy the big-screen TV in the lounge.

Distant Drums RV Resort

Distant Drums RV Resort is located approximately 30 miles south of Munds Park on Interstate 17. The facility offers 158 sites (including a number of pull-throughs), 30- and 50-amp electric service, cable television and Wi-Fi at every site. Open year round, the resort's amenities include modern laundry facilities, a library filled with paperbacks and films, and a pool and hot tub. The park is affiliated with the Cliff Castle Casino on the other side of the interstate, and guests can catch a ride on the casino shuttle when they want to get a meal, play the slots or bowl a game or two. This is a pet-friendly RV resort.

Black Barts RV Park

Black Barts RV Park in Flagstaff has 175 sites with full hookups; 42 sites are pull-throughs. RVers can pull in to this park any time of year. Guests can shop at the on-site antiques store and feast on ribs and steak at Black Barts Steakhouse while they enjoy the nightly entertainment. Pets are welcome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park

Rancho Sedona RV Park can't be more than 10 miles from Munds Park as the crow flies; for an RV, it's about 40 miles. The red-rock splendor of Sedona is an entirely different experience from the forests of Munds Park. This is a four-season park that offers a number of larger, "executive sites," each with its own private patio and direct access to Oak Creek. Pets are welcome for a fee.
