Campgrounds of the South is home to 100 sites with full hookups that include 20/30/50-amp electricity, water, sewer and cable TV. The park offers very well-maintained paved interior roads along with 50 paved sites and six gravel sites. Reservations are required, with advance payment. Facilities include a convenience store and a laundromat. A public fishing pier can be found three miles away from Campgrounds of the South, and more than 13 miles of public beachfront wait just 10 minutes away. Off-site recreational activities include deep sea fishing excursions and a championship golf course within 10 minutes of the park. Also close by are a movie theater, Crossroads Mall and the casinos.

Gulf Haven Campground
Gulf Haven Campground offers well-maintained gravel roads taking you to RV sites with full hookups that offer 20/30/50-amp electrical service along with water, sewer, cable and wireless Internet service. Pets are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash. Each vehicle enjoys an unobstructed view of the Gulf of the Mexico. Ten miles off the coast you can enjoy fishing, swimming and seashell collection out on the Ship Islands. This attraction also includes ranger-guided tours of Fort Massachusetts. Ships depart daily from March through October.
