Jasper, Georgia Campgrounds

Jasper, Georgia Campgrounds
Jasper, Georgia, is a medium-sized town at the very southern end of the Appalachian foothills, which has experienced considerable growth in the past 10 years. Just to the north lies the Chattahoochee National Forest, and campgrounds in this area offer a great balance of convenience to both town and outdoor recreation activities. The town of Jasper boasts shopping, dining and nightlife activities, and the surrounding areas offer great hiking, whitewater and scenic paddling and sightseeing opportunities. Amicalola Falls State Park is also an easy drive away, which is a must-see for visitors to northern Georgia.

Talona Creek Campground

Conveniently located just one mile off of Hwy 515, Talona Creek Campground offers 21 RV sites with full hookups and tent sites as well. RV sites have both 30- and 50-amp hookups available. The creek runs along the edge of the campground and is a great place to enjoy tubing and cool off on a hot summer day. Swimming, boating and fishing are available at nearby Carters Lake, and the town of Talking Rock is great for antique hunters.
