Matagorda Bay Nature and RV Park
A 1,600-acre park and preserve at the mouth of the Colorado River, the Matagorda Bay Nature Park is managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The 70 sites are within walking distance of the river, the beach and fishing piers. Activities at the park also include hiking, fishing, bird-watching, tent camping and swimming.
