Brandywine Creek Campground

Bring your fishing poles to this quiet and scenic campground, nestled on the shores of the East Brandywine Creek. There's a large fishing pond on the property, but you may prefer to try your luck in the trout-stocked river. The campground has full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electrical service, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. There's an outdoor pool and bathhouse, laundry facilities and a recreational hall with a TV, Internet service, air hockey, ping pong and video games. The campground, located an hour from downtown Philadelphia, is minutes from Marsh Creek State Park. The Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish country is within a 30-minute drive.

West Chester KOA

This lively campground, situated on the banks of the Brandywine River, has shoreline fishing, dock fishing, canoe rentals and a slew of programs and live entertainment. There are planned activities and games, contests, concerts, pancake breakfasts, BBQ socials and more offered on summer weekends.

West Chester Koa features full service sites with 50-amp service and cable TV (maximum vehicle length is 90 feet.) There's a lodge for small group gatherings, café, snack bar, laundry, convenience store, gift shop and playground areas. Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, mini-golf and an arcade. The campground offers an all-day guided trip to downtown Philadelphia.

Hidden Acres Campground

This longstanding campground has been family-owned and operated by the Clement Baldwin family since 1962. Hidden Acres is set in a rural area in Coatesville. Full hook-up sites with 30-amp electric are scattered under tall tall pine trees.

Campground amenities include a camp store, swimming pool, game room, laundry facilities, bathhouses and a dump station. The small pond on the property is a popular place for kids fishing for small fry. A network of hiking trails can be accessed from the campground. Guests can also use the picnic areas and BBQ grills scattered throughout the property.
