Red Fleet State Park
This state park has 200 million-year-old dinosaur tracks preserved in sandstone. The 1,963 acre park has hiking trails, boating, fishing, fire pits and it allows dogs. It is located 10 miles north of Vernal and has 38 RV sites with a maximum length of 35 feet. The park is open year-round and does not have hookups but restrooms, waste disposal and drinking water are available. Red Fleet Reservoir offers recreational opportunities and scenic views, and the location is a short drive from shopping and dining in Vernal.
