Nestled into the eastern section of Idaho and built upon the banks of the Snake River is the town of Woodville. Outdoor enthusiasts will find a host of activities on the river here, including fishing, swimming and boating. Hiking and bike trails exist at Targhee National Forest, and families can toss around a Frisbee at Freeman Park. While no lodging can be found directly in Woodville, a plethora of motels exist in nearby Idaho Falls.

Built beside the majestic Idaho Falls of Snake River, the Red Lion on the Falls offers close proximity to outdoor activities and great views to match. Close to the property lies the Snake River Riverwalk, offering four miles of recreational paths. Guests can also fish nearby or skate in the winter.
