Birch Grove RV Park

Birch Grove RV Park is located in Balfour, by Kootenay Lake. The RV park has 50 sites, some of which are extended-stay sites. Forty-seven of the sites have full hookup while the remaining three sites have no hookup. Amenities include picnic tables, patios and grills. Pets are welcome at Birch Grove so long as they are on a leash. Activities on the lake include swimming, fishing and paddling. There is also a boat launch at Kootenay Lake. In addition, Ainswoth Hot Springs is just a 20-minute drive away. Birch Grove is open from April 15 until Nov. 1.

Deep Bay RV Park

Deep Bay RV Park is located in Bowser, next to the Strait of Georgia. Deep Bay RV Park has a total of 85 sites, some of which are extended-stay sites. Seventy-eight of the sites have full hookups, four have just water and electricity (20/30 amps), and three have no hookups. Facilities include showers (for a fee), laundry facilities and picnic tables. Pets are also welcome at Deep Bay RV Park. Salmon fishing and water-skiing are just some of the activities available along the coastline. In addition, wildlife enthusiasts should keep an eye out for seals, otters and orcas.

Burnaby Cariboo RV Park and Campground

Burnaby Cariboo RV Park is located on Burnaby Lake Regional Park. The RV park has 241 sites, and 217 sites have full hookup (30 amps). The remaining 24 sites have no hookups. Cable TV is available for an additional fee. Facilities at Burnaby include RV storage, a grocery store, laundry facilities and RV supplies. Activities available at Burnaby Lake Regional Park include hiking, fishing and paddling. In addition, the RV park has a swimming pool and a whirlpool, and the office can make arrangements for local tours. Pets are allowed at Burnaby Cariboo RV Park so long as they are on a leash at all times.
