Renfrew, British Columbia, is a strategic location for hiking the 29-mile long Juan de Fuca Marine Trail with views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and access to remote beaches. Port Renfrew Resorts is located on the waterfront in Port San Juan. Two restaurants on the property include the Light House Pub & Restaurant and the Hotel Restaurant in the main building of the original 1890s hotel site. Accommodations include 11 cabins in the original Government wharf, ocean-front duplexes and four studio/apartments. The cabin amenities include flat-screen TV, Express-Vu satellite, wireless Internet access and luxury bedding with feather duvets. Other amenities include hot tub, patio table and chairs, fully equipped kitchenette and hair dryer.

Six ocean-front duplexes have a kitchenette, living and dining room, and a deck overlooking San Juan Bay. The choice of two king-size beds or four twin-size beds can be made at time of making a reservation.

Four studio/apartments, with a view of the wharf, include amenities of complimentary tea and coffee, coffee maker and bath with tub/shower. You have a choice of bedding, king or twin beds.

Soule Creek Lodge

The Soule Creek Lodge can accommodate 24 people on its 160 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Soule Creek Lodge provides guests with a hot complimentary breakfast. Fine dining is prepared by two chefs using fresh local ingredients in three courses: appetizer, main course and dessert. It is suggested that you make a reservation for the casual, 16-seat dining room. Soule Creek Lodge's menu changes daily.

Rooms and suites are available with views of San Juan Bay, West Coast Trail, Pacific Ocean, Olympic Peninsula and San Juan Bay Inlet. Rooms sleep four and have a coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, microwave and bath with shower. Yurts, with a deck, have a microwave, mini-refrigerator, coffee/tea and a private bath with shower. One- and two-bedroom suites are available with a queen bed, walkout balcony/deck and sitting areas.

Trailhead Resort & Charters

Trailhead Resort & Charters offers exclusive fishing charters. It is attractive to kayakers for nearby San Juan River's calm waters. The British Columbia Fishing Lodge accommodations are available for participants of fishing charters. Suites and cabins are available for nonfishing charter participants.

The Trailhead Lodge's British Columbia Fishing Lodge rooms have a private bath and a shared living area. Meals are included in the package with breakfast, a packed lunch and a three-course dinner with fresh Pacific fish. A large deck overlooks the harbor.

Cabins and suites include a full kitchen and living room area. Guests can enjoy a deck area, hot tubs, lounge area and fire pit. Two private 1,200-square-foot two-bedroom cabins and a third smaller two-bedroom cabin are available. All have a full kitchen and living area with a private bath. Other amenities include a satellite TV, access to fire pit and lounge area.

West Coast Trail Motel

The West Coast Trail Motel with 22 rooms is located at the end of the West Coast Trail, and just five minutes from the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and Botanical Beach. Complimentary local calls, laundry facility and a meeting room are available. Queen-size bed guest rooms with kitchenettes and hot tub are available as well.
