Murphy is community located in Colquitt County, Georgia. It is situated near the cities of Thomasville, Ochlocknee and Adel. Campgrounds in the area offer campers many opportunities for recreation such as swimming, boating and fishing. The Reed Bingham State Park is a local attraction where abundant wildlife can be seen such as gopher tortoises, limpkins, indigo snakes, spotted turtles and bald eagles.

City of Roses RV Park

City of Roses RV Park has 72 campsites with 60 RV sites that have full hookups. The camp also offers 50-amp service, pull through sites, big-rig access and cable TV. Tent-site accommodations are available as well. Other amenities include historic tours from the camp, pavilion and laundry and bathroom facilities. Myrtlewood Hunting Plantation is about 4 miles away where visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing, hiking and hunting.

Sugar Mill RV Park

Sugar Mill is situated on a 54-acre plantation. It offers RV sites with full hookups as well as tent sites. Amenities include two clubhouses, wireless Internet access, cable TV and laundry facilities. Campers can fish on site at the camp's three fishing ponds. Activities include hiking, biking, basketball, shuffleboard and horseshoes.

Reed Bingham State Park

The Reed Bingham State Park has sites for RVs, tents, group shelters and picnic shelters. The park has a 375-acre lake where campers can go fishing for crappie, catfish, bass and bream or enjoy boating and water-skiing. The park also maintains many nature trails for hiking and wildlife viewing. Other activities include swimming, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, wildlife viewing and miniature golf. The park has boat ramps and a fishing pier. RV sites include 30-amp electrical service, cable TV, picnic table, grill and fire ring.
