East Tawas, Mich. is located right on Tawas Bay. The area is near recreational attractions such as the Tawas Point State Park and the AuSable River Park. Activities are abundant and include bass, walleye, pike and perch fishing, boating, hiking and horseback riding. The AuSable River Park also provides thousands of acres of well groomed hiking trails. East Branch River RV Park

East Branch River RV Park is a 58-acre park with miles of river shoreline available for fishing. The park has 38 full hookup sites with 30/50-amp service, picnic table and fire rings. Other amenities include laundry facilities and a bathhouse. Campers can fish right on camp for steelhead, brook trout and brown trout. Other activities include hiking, bicycling and wildlife viewing.

Old Orchard Park

Old Orchard Park is located within the Huron-Manistee National Forest and along the River Road Scenic Byway. The camp has 525 camp sites that range from modern, waterfront and primitive. The camp also has cabin rental units. Most sites have water and electric hook ups with 50-amp service. Amenities include three bathhouses, pavilion and a fishing pier. There is a beach area, two boat ramps and nature hiking trails. Aside from hiking, swimming and boating, guests can also enjoy horseback riding or take advantage of the pontoon, row boat, and paddle boat rentals available at the park.

Oscoda KOA

Oscoda KOA offers RV sites with full hook ups, 50-amp service and maximum length pull through of 100 feet. Tent sites and cabins are also available. Other amenities are wireless Internet connection, heated swimming pool, laundry facilities, pavilion and a dog park. Visitors can enjoy lake and river access a mile and a half away at Lake Huron and the Au Sable River. Water activities at the AuSable River include tubing, canoeing, fishing and kayaking.
