Campgrounds Around Silver Lake in Michigan
Silver Lake is on the west coast of Michigan, and Silver Lake State Park is located between it and Lake Michigan. Silver Lake is a popular all-sports lake bordered by sand dunes where the public can drive ORV vehicles. The dunes are the main attraction of the area and there are several campgrounds around the lake that provide access to both the dunes and lakefront.

Silver Lake State Park Campground

Silver Lake State Park Campground is located on the southwest side of Silver Lake, where it is less then a five minute walk to the lakefront. There are 200 campsites set in the wooded landscape adjacent to the lake. The sites include electrical service, a picnic table and fire ring, as well as modern restroom buildings. The park is 3,000 acres and features many recreational opportunities, including hiking trails, ORV trails and fishing, as well as a swimming beach and hunting area.
