Friendly Acres RV Park

Friendly Acres RV Park has been in business since 1971 and offers 380 sites for your RV or mobile home. Facilities include a spacious rec hall, laundromat and a pool area with two hot tubs. Recreation includes a pool hall, horseshoes, and shuffleboard. That rare day when the sun does keep you inside can be passed by relaxing with a good book or video available from the library. Scheduled activities include woodcarving classes, water aerobics and musical jam sessions. A half hour from Friendly Acres is the 1.3 mile long Painted Desert Trail inside the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is also home to Meers Point, where you can paddle around in a canoe or drop a line for fishing.

Hidden Shores RV Park

Hidden Shores RV Park is located near the Imperial Dam and features 575 sites that offer full hookups. Facilities include a new 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, which offers a ballroom, fitness center, library and pool table. This Yuma RV resort has a heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, as well as a marina with boat-launch ramp. The on-site 9-hole executive course is reserved for guests of Hidden Shores only. Also on-site is the Cove restaurant where you can grab a quick bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hidden Valley sits right on the Colorado River where you can raft, tube or fish to your heart's content.

Cactus Gardens RV Resort

Cactus Gardens is a Yuma RV campground that offers 428 sites spread across 14 acre. You can reserve 158 of the sites and all are situated on large paves roads with concrete patios. Many of the sites have at least one shade tree and all are given a prime location near the Colorado River where you can quickly head for fun in the 300-plus days of sun that Yuma enjoys each year. Activities at Cactus Gardens include bingo, horseshoes, shuffleboard, darts, bingo and poker. Recreation revolves around the large swimming pool with spa and fitness center. Bring your pet because the resort also features a dog run. Pack your best dancing shoes to join in the festivities inside the dance hall.
