Meaher State Park
The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park and downtown Mobile are a straight shot from Meaher State Park on the eastern side of the Mobile delta. While not actually in Mobile, it's just a short hop across the bridge, in Spanish Fort. A boat ramp and 300-foot fishing pier aids anglers and boaters in enjoying the richness of this estuary. An extended stay at this park is facilitated by the full-hookup RV sites accompanied by a bath house and laundry facilities. Hiking trails include a boardwalk that takes the trekker through the park's ecosystems.
