RV Parks near Midland, Michigan

Midland, as the name suggests, is located in the center of Michigan's lower peninsula. The city features more than 50 miles of trails suitable for hiking and biking during the summer months or snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the snowy winters. Visitors also may enjoy canoeing on the Chippewa and Tittabawassee rivers which intersect in Midland.

Valley Plaza Resort

The Valley Plaza Resort is a 30-acre resort which features a 77-site RV park with full hookups including water, electric, sewer and cable TV. Each site also includes a patio, barbecue grill, fire pit and picnic table. Guests of the RV park are permitted to enjoy the resort's facilities including an indoor pool, sauna and on-site health club as well as access to the private sandy beach on the resorts three-acre lake. Other amenities include two on-site restaurants, 32-lane bowling center, movie theater and an 18-hole indoor miniature golf course.

River Ridge Campground

River Ridge Campground is located in Breckenridge, approximately 21 miles away from Midland. This campground has 150 campsites ranging from RV sites with full water, electric and sewer hookups to rustic tent sites. Amenities include restrooms and showers, dumping station, laundry facilities, children's playground, heated swimming pool, volleyball court and a basketball court. Guests of the park can rent kayaks, paddle boats, water trampolines and tubes for use on Milford pond located at the center of the park and the Pine River which borders the North and West sides of the campground. Pets are permitted although the park has banned certain breed considered dangerous including pit bulls, Rottweilers and Dobermans.

Linwood Beach Marina and Campground

The Linwood Beach Marina and Campgrounds has 106 campsites with water, electric and sewer hookups. The marina is located on Saginaw Bay, approximately 21 miles away from Midland. This park features restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, dumping station, children's playground and a children's fishing pond. The campground also has a larger pond available for swimming and fishing with a fish cleaning station nearby. Pets are welcome but can only be walked in designated areas. Boat rental is available from the marina for fishing and relaxing on Saginaw Bay.
