Hotel Monteleone
In the heart of the French Quarter on Royal Street, Hotel Monteleone has been a hotbed of paranormal haunting for years. In 2003, the International Society of Paranormal Research stayed at the hotel and claimed to have made contact with several apparitions, including a former employee and a small boy who enjoys playing hide-in-seek with another ghost-child. While waiting for a spirit to appear, enjoy the Internet access, workout room and day spa. Take a dip in the heated rooftop pool that overlooks the New Orleans skyline. Hotel Monteleone also has room service, two restaurants and what it calls the most popular bar in town, the Carousel Bar.

Lafitte Guest House
Decorated with antiques, the Lafitte Guest House is a meticulously preserved 1849 French Quarter mansion. While Lafitte is on the infamous Bourbon Street, it's location at the residential end means guests can enjoy a quiet night's sleep--unless you are staying in room 21, the "home" to several ghosts, including a mother and two of her children. Room 21 is one of several rooms with a balcony overlooking the French Quarter. Other rooms feature a fireplace or a balcony overlooking the courtyard. All rooms have wireless Internet access. Guests may enjoy breakfast in the courtyard and then take in a cooking class without leaving Lafitte Guest House.

Le Pavillon Hotel
One paranormal research team found as many as 100 ghosts residing in the turn-of-the-century French Quarter hotel. Another paranormal research group found a more modest four apparitions. Regardless, Le Pavillon is a place to go for ghost hunters. The traditionally appointed rooms feature in-room safes, robes and wireless Internet access. Journey to the rooftop for a dip in the year-round heated swimming pool or for a workout in the fitness center. The rooftop also features a hot tub, sundeck and private cabanas, all with views of New Orleans. Dine at one of the two hotel restaurants or through room service.
