Campgrounds in Ellijay, Georgia
Ellijay, Georgia, is also known as the "Apple Capital of Georgia." The city holds an annual Georgia Apple Festival each October that attracts many visitors. Campers enjoy many of the recreational activities the area has to offer such as hiking, swimming, mountain biking, fishing and boating. Local attractions include Amicalola Falls State Park, Fort Mountain State Park and Chattahoochee National Forest.

Diamond Lure RV & Campground

Diamond Lure Park offers an adventurous camp for visitors as it features a 15-acre lake stocked with largemouth bass, channel cat and brim. There is also a 3-acre lakeside park and a beach and swimming area. The camp has tent sites and RV sites with amenities such as 30/50-amp, full hookups and cable TV. Just 15 miles away is the Amicalola Falls State Park, a 1,000 acre park featuring 12 miles of hiking trails.

Mulberry Gap

Mulberry Gap has bunkhouse cabins as well as camp/tent sites. The cabins are furnished and include a hot tub and designated parking spaces. The camp sites have picnic tables, fire rings and bathhouse facilities. The park has about 15 acres of surrounding forest area for hiking, mountain biking and wildlife watching.

Talona Creek Campground‎

Talona Creek Campground has RV and tent sites. There are 21 RV sites with amenities such as full hookups and 30/50-amp service. Laundry and shower facilities, pool table and satellite TV also are available. The campground offers horseback riding and training. Aside from horseback riding and hiking, campers can also enjoy trout fishing and tubing at the camp's creek or swimming and boating at nearby Carters Creek.
