RV Parks in the Manhattan, Kansas area
Manhattan, Kansas, is home to Kansas State University and Fort Riley, a U.S. Army base. However, the town also has two large lakes nearby, Milford Lake and Tuttle Creek Lake. These large lakes offer outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity for access to canoeing, flat-water kayaking and fishing in the area. Lake Milford in particular has walleye, crappie, white bass, smallmouth bass and catfish.

Milford Lake State Park

Milford Lake State Park is located west of Manhattan on the southeastern side of Milford Lake. This Kansas state park has 141 campsites that offer both water and electrical hookups, with 51 of these sites offering sewer services. There are 108 more primitive campsites that do not have hookups. Among the facilities at the park are showers, restrooms, beaches that allow swimming, picnic areas, a marina and hiking trails. Handicap-accessible facilities are available. Next to Milford Lake State Park is the Milford Fish Hatchery and the Milford Nature Center.

Four Seasons RV Acres

Four Seasons RV Acres is west of Manhattan off of Interstate 70. The campground has 86 sites, with some offering full hookups, while others just have electric and water services. There is a swimming pool, mini-golf course, a pond, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, playground, laundry facility and horseshoe pits. In addition, Four Seasons RV Acres is also an RV dealership, selling RVs, accessories, parts and provides RV services.

Covered Wagon RV Resort

Also west of Manhattan is the Covered Wagon RV Resort in Abilene, Kansas. There are 69 sites available for both pull-through and back-in recreational vehicles. There is also a dump station, swimming pool, laundry facility, showers, a playground area and picnic tables. The resort even has a corral for accommodating horses.

Mill Creek Campground and RV Park

East of Manhattan is Mill Creek Campground and RV Park, off of Interstate 70. The campground has 47 sites with most that are hooked up to water, sewer and electricity. Wi-Fi Internet access is available, as well as a picnic area, a laundry facility, shower facilities and a meeting room. In addition, there is a creek that runs through the campground for fishing and swimming.
