RV Parks & Campgrounds Near Polk County, WI
Polk County, Wis., is in the northwest corner of the state on the Minnesota border. The county has 39 square miles of lakes and water access for boating, fishing and kayak-touring. Within the county, there are townships and villages, including Turtle Lake, Dresser, Eureka and Luck. Minnesota's Twin Cities are within a 1 1/2-hour drive.

Turtle Lake RV Park

Turtle Lake RV Park has sites with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer and Wi-Fi. RVs of most sizes can be accommodated as there are pull-thru sites for bigger rigs. The campground has hot showers, private bathrooms and an outdoor swimming pool. Daily, weekly and seasonal rates are available. Pets are allowed, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Turtle Lake has fishing and boating, and there is hiking at nearby Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. The Saint Croix National Scenic River is also within an hour's drive and offers kayak-touring and fishing.

St. Croix Casino and Resort

The resort offers a range of services and sites with full hookups, including 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer and Wi-Fi. There are pull-thru sites for the larger rigs. The RV park is closed during the winter months. Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash. There is a free shuttle from the campground to the casino. Bathrooms, showers and a picnic area are on the grounds. The Blue Waters Leisure Park is nearby and hikers can access the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail within a half-hour of the casino.

Float Rite Park

The Float Rite Park has sites for most size RVs and "dry" (without hookups) and full-hookup sites. Water and either 30- or 50-amp electric are included at sites with hookups. Guests can use the dump station on the grounds. Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash. The Float Rite offers "Stay and Play" packages, which include campsite fees and entrance fees to the tubing and water sites. There are showers and bathrooms, picnic areas, a shuttle service to town, general store and game room on the grounds. The campground is next to the Apple River, where there is tubing, fishing and kayaking.
