Arcola, Illinois, forms a triangle-shaped area, along with Decatur and Champaign. This small town is along Highway 57, and visitors to the area have access to activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming, museums and shopping. Arcola itself has only one RV park, but others are in neighboring towns.

Hebron Hills Camping

Less than 10 minutes from Arcola is Hebron Hills Camping. This campground has certain amenities available for RV campers, including water and electric hookups. The campground is closely connected to the Amish countryside and Amish shops. The campground sits away from the road in a rural and private setting. It offers guests access to tetherball, basketball, badminton and volleyball. Hiking, fishing and swimming are a few of the outdoor activities in the area.

Walnut Point State Park

The Walnut Point State Park offers a number of spots for RVs and campers that are full hookup sites, with water and electric. Guests staying in the campground have access to outdoor activities including fishing, swimming, hunting, nature tours and hiking. The campground has a dump station, showers and restrooms for those staying in the RV section of the park. The park is only 10 minutes from Arcola.

Woods-Woods Campground

Those biking in the Arcola area are fond of the Woods-Woods Campground. The campground is 10 to 15 minutes from Arcola and is relatively inexpensive. More than 140 sites are available at the campground, including full-hookup sites with water and electric. Guests have access to the campground's bathrooms and shower house.

Arcola Camper Stop

The Arcola Camper Stop is the only RV park in the area, though it also has space available for those camping in a tent. Both pull-through and back-in spots are available at the RV park, and it also has space for tractor trailers. Full-hookup sites come with electric, water and sewer. The campground is easy to find because it's off the main highway through Arcola and it has a large number of shade trees for relaxing. Guests use the honor system--dropping off payment in a box on the front before finding a spot.
