Louie's on the Avenue

Louie's on the Avenue is located in a faithfully restored Victorian mansion. Five individual dining rooms are available, each with its own personality and decor. The menu offers a number of grilled meat dishes, including the restaurant's signature "Steak Louie," a 16-oz prime rib served with caramelized mushrooms, onions and mashed potatoes. Plenty of seafood dishes and vegetarian offerings are also available.

The '76 House

Built in 1668, The '76 House is the oldest restaurant in the county. The building was once the meeting place of revolutionary patriots, including General George Washington himself. Today, the building is a popular fine dining destination, thanks to its unique take on American cuisine. Pepper-seared loin of ostrich and stuffed littleneck clams are popular starters, with double-cut pork chops served with apple marmalade or lobster ravioli.

Mt. Ivy Cafe

Mt. Ivy Cafe is a family-friendly, mid-priced restaurant that is perfect for a romantic dinner for two or a fun night out with friends. The menu features many Italian-American fusion dishes, such as a boneless breast of chicken sautéed with white wine, black olives, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes served over linguini. The Cafe also features an extensive tapas menu with items such as shrimp cerviche and grilled polenta.
