Washington, D.C. is a large city, but one of the best ways to get around in the city is by bike. Visitors can take a guided tour or rent bikes and go their own way. The District Hotel was established in 1920, and retains the charm of Washington's historic past. Comfort Inn Convention Center

The Comfort Inn Convention Center is at 13th and M Streets, and just a short walk to the Convention Center and Verizon Center, where the NBA's Wizards, the NHL's Capitals, the Georgetown Hoyas, and the the WNBA's Washington Mystics all play, and also just a short walk to Chinatown. Two different Metrorail stations are within a few blocks for easy travel within the city. The hotel has free wireless Internet access, free continental breakfast and an exercise room for guests.

Hotel Harrington

Hotel Harrington opened in 1914; it is the city's oldest continuously operating hotel, and has served more than 10 million guests. The hotel is in the heart of the tourist district and half a block to Pennsylvania Avenue, walking distance to the White House or the Capitol building, and many of the other sights. The hotel has more than 200 rooms, a restaurant and pub and a gift shop. Deluxe family rooms are available for privacy when traveling together, with separate bedrooms.
