Hickory Hills is located southwest of Chicago in Cook County in the Palos Township. Hickory Hills gets its name from its hilly terrain and hickory trees, and it is a residential area with neighboring forest preserves. The city has its very own Park District, where residents and visitors can enjoy the area's parks, recreation centers and playgrounds.

Hickory West Inn

Located less than three miles from Hickory Hills and 16 miles from Chicago, the Bridgeview Inn Motel has 60 guestrooms on its two floors.
