Warrington Park

Emmett Reed Center, Gymnasium & Playground
Emmett Reed Center is in downtown Jacksonville and features a community center, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. Visitors can enjoy a game of basketball, pool, or ping-pong, or work out in the weight room. The park also features tennis courts, a lighted baseball field, several picnic tables, and a playground. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from

Clanzel T. Brown Park
Originally named Golfair Park, the park's name was changed in 1983 to honor civil servant and civil rights advocate Clanzel T. Brown. This 21-acre community park offers a range of family friendly outdoor activities, including two basketball courts, a lighted softball field, tennis courts, play structures, a community center, and a swimming pool. Picnic tables and benches are also sprinkled through the park. The swimming pool is open May through September. Hours vary, so call for details.
