Moline is a small town located in Elk County, Kansas. Named by a salesman from Moline, Illinois, this town is characterized by its expansive flat plains and great fishing lakes. Along with its fishing lakes, which Moline is best known for, the town also is a great place to camp. The town of Moline allows camping, with a permit and a small fee, along its lakes and in its city park.

Located 40 minutes northeast of Moline is Flint Oak. Self-described as an "outdoorsman's paradise," this hotel does not offer any TV or telephone service in its rooms. Rather the hotel focuses on offering many outdoor activities and options such as 
scenic trails perfect for walking, hiking, or riding, access to an equestrian club, outdoor barbecue pits and picnic areas, volleyball courts, swimming pools, and general outdoor space for games and activities.
