Showboat
Showboat calls itself the "Mardi Gras Casino" and it is on the main promenade, within walking distance of the Absecon Lighthouse. All rooms are spacious and include the usual hotel amenities. The Showboat features the House of Blues Music Hall as well as the House of Blues Restaurant. Matching the music, the cuisine is Southern-inspired and folk art decorates the space. Being the "Mardi Gras Casino," Showboat features several Cajun and Louisiana-style eating options, including the Canal Street Bread & Sandwich Company and the French Quarter Buffet. For a special treat, dine at the Rib & Chophouse, which features fine steaks, chops and seafood.
