Nava Creative Cuisine

Nava Creative Cuisine is a café that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an emphasis on lunch options. The café is located in the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver, a sports center. Nava, therefore, has many healthy options on the menu that include fresh made-to-order omelets for breakfast and pastas in the afternoon. The menu also includes quesadillas, burritos, wraps, soups and chili. Pizzas are also made-to-order and available throughout the day. As of 2010, Nava is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to two hours before the community center closes for Shabbat on Fridays and 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Sabra Restaurant and Bakery

Sabra Restaurant and Bakery is a family-owned and operated, award-winning kosher establishment. The menu consists of ethnic, West Coast fusion in addition to traditional meat/parve dishes. Sabra serves breakfast omelets and bagels, appetizers and salads and dip, as well as sandwiches like falafel and corned beef. There are five vegetarian lunch options to choose from plus plain and veggie pizzas. Sabra has a wide selection of meat and seafood entrees that come with fresh salad and a side choice. Some pasta dishes are also available. The restaurant offers catering services and has a wide selection of pastries and cakes. Sabra is open Sunday to Tuesday until 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday until 8 p.m. and Friday until 4 p.m. as of 2010.

Pini's Pizza, Grocery and Café

Pini's specializes in dairy prepared foods like pizza, ice cream, lasagna and Greek salad. Pini's parve pizzas are made by request with kosher cheeses that are imported from Israel. A breakfast menu is also available that includes an omelet, salad and bagel special for $3.49 (price as of January 2010). The grocery section of Pini's features an array of international kosher snacks and candies, as well as Chai kosher meats, poultry, pizzas, vegetarian meals, seafood and kosher cheeses. The café serves kosher coffees, cappuccinos and lattes. Pini's is open Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
