Home of the world's only Corn Palace, Mitchell, South Dakota, offers various local attractions as well as recreation for RV campers. The Corn Palace is decorated with new murals each year made of bushels of corn, grains and grasses to celebrate the state's bounty. Other attractions include the Wild Oak Golf Club, Dakota Discovery Museum and a prehistoric Indian village. Visitors also can enjoy water activities at Lake Mitchell.

Mitchell KOA

This KOA has RV sites, cabins and tent sites. Site amenities include 50-amp service, maximum length pull-through of 70 feet, Internet connection, and swimming pool. On-site activities include mini golf, swimming, and bicycling. Tour services are available. The world's only Corn Palace and Prehistoric Indian Village are just some of the local attractions visitors can explore near camp.

Rondee's Campground

Rondee's Campground features an indoor water park. The camp has more than 50 sites for RVs and tents with amenities such as full hook-ups, 30- or 50-amp service, 70-foot lot length, cable TV, laundry facilities, and game room. Campers can enjoy fishing and boating at Lake Mitchell and golf at two nearby 18-hole golf courses.

R & R Campground

R & R Campground has 40 RV sites with pull-through and back-ins. It offers full hook-ups with 30- or 50-amp service, cable TV, laundry facilities, Internet connection, and heated swimming pool. The camp's maximum length pull-through is 90 feet. Guests can visit the Corn Palace or play golf at the Pioneer Park, which are both five minutes away.
