Brownsville, Texas Campgrounds
Brownsville, Texas is the state's southernmost city and is found on what is referred to as the "Texas Riviera." The Brownsville region offers opportunities for sea kayaking along the grassy shores of the Gulf of Mexico and has many species of migratory birds for those inclined to do some bird-watching. Brownsville hosts the International Birding Festival, and the Resaca de la Palma State Park has birding and butterfly watching, photography, hiking and biking. South Padre Island and the Mexican city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas are both close enough to make convenient day trips.

Paul's RV Park is in the heart of Brownsville and offers a range of services. Rates for daily, weekly and seasonal stays are available, and many campers choose Paul's for their extended visits. Sites can accommodate most RV sizes including those with slide-outs. Hookups include 30- or 50-amp electricity, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. The RV park offers guided tours that include dolphin viewing, birding, fishing or trips into neighboring Mexico. Pets are allowed. Hot showers and private toilets are available for guest use.

Breeze Lake Campground

RV guests staying at the Breeze Lake Campground are offered a range of services and amenities. Hookups include water, sewer, 30- or 50-amp electricity, Wi-Fi and free cable TV. There are hot showers, private bathrooms, a playground, lake with fishing, picnic tables, barbecue area, propane service, newspaper delivery and a guest house on the premises for guest use. Pets are allowed. There are organized events and activities on the grounds during the winter season including cards, Tai Chi and computer classes. The Resaca de la Palma State Park and World Birding Center are within 30 minutes of the Breeze Lake.

Honeydale Mobile Home and RV Park

Honeydale Mobile Home and RV Park has seasonal stay rates and daily or weekly rates. The Honeydale is a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico, where visitors can fish, swim or collect shells. South Padre Island is also just a few minutes away. Dolphins are frequently spotted in the waters of the area. The park offers sites that can accommodate RVs of all sizes. Pets are welcome at Honeydale. Hookups include 30- or 50-amp electricity, water and sewer. Cable TV hookups are available. Hot showers, private toilets and picnic areas are found throughout the campgrounds. The Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge is close to Honeydale.
