Skidway Lake, Michigan area RV Parks
Skidway Lake is a fairly popular tourist destination in Michigan that's also popular with locals. During the summer the lake attracts swimmers, boaters and fishermen. Winter visitors come out to the lake for ice fishing and cross-country skiing. Several RV parks offer electric and water hookups, as well as other amenities for campers who want to stay near Skidway Lake and take advantage of the recreational opportunities there.

Hardwood Lake Campground

A total of 22 RV spots are found at the Hardwood Lake Campground, including several with 50 amp electric hookups; rest have 30 amps. Guests have access to a dump station, playground, pavilion, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts and basketball courts. The campground also offers boat tie-ups and a swimming beach and is close to a boat slip maintained by the Department of Natural Resources. Skidway Lake is less than 6 miles away.

Loranger Pines RV Park

Of the 60 campsites at the Loranger Pines RV Park, 31 are full hookup RV sites. These sites feature 20, 30 or 50 amp electric hookups and water, with back-in and pull-through spots available. The park offers a swimming pool, restrooms, showers, laundry room and a dump station. Loranger Pines RV park is only open from April to November. It features a security staff on site and is approximately 13 miles from Skidway Lake.

Greenwood Campground

Six miles from Skidway Lake, the Greenwood Campground offers dozens of activities such as swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing and bird watching. A horseshoe pit, volleyball court, basketball court, playground and hiking trails are also available. Both pull-through and back-in RV spots are offered, with water and electric hookups on all RV spots. The campground is close to off-site hiking trails, golf courses, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor activities.

River View Campground

The River View Campground less than 10 miles south of Skidway Lake is popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Tubing, canoeing and kayaking are all offered and the campground rents boats for those who don't have their own. A party store with groceries, personal care items, clothing and bait is located at the campground, as is a recreation center with a large game room. Volleyball courts, a basketball court, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, restrooms and showers are also found at the campground, which offers full RV hookup sites, tent sites and rental cabins. Discounts are available for those camping on the weekdays.
