RV Parks in Madison, Indiana
Madison, Indiana, is a small, picturesque, charming town with a long history. The surrounding area boasts a number of different events, including a wine-tasting festival and boat races. You'll also find hiking, fishing and other outdoor attractions at the Clifty Falls State Park. Madison has a few campgrounds and RV parks, but you'll also find more in the neighboring area.

Indian Lakes

Indian Lakes is a campground less than an hour from Madison that provides over 700 campsites and nearly 50 full hookup spots for RVs. Water and electric come with all RV spots. The campground has its own general store, with convenience items, souvenirs and groceries for sale. The campground also has an in-ground swimming pool, rents golf cars and offers monthly rates.

Ashmoor Campground

The Ashmoor Campground is located in Scottsburg, around an hour's drive from Madison and close to the Scottsburg Reservoir, with fishing, swimming and boating. The campground is more basic than some of the others in the area but is close to many outdoor activities. It's just a short drive from whitewater paddling and the Clifty Falls State Park.

Clifty Falls State Park

The Clifty Falls State Park is one of the more popular destinations in Madison. Camping is available at the park, and 106 of the spots come with electric hookups. The campground also has its own dump station for those camping in an RV. The park has a swimming pool and waterslide, which opens every year on Memorial Day. Tennis courts, hiking trails, shelters and a nature center are all found at the park. It also has the Clifty Inn, with its own restaurant.

City of Madison Campground

The City of Madison Campground, or simply, City Campground, is a small campground with its own RV park. Tent camping is available, but the RV spots come with 30- or 50-amp electric hookups and water. Guests have access to showers, restrooms and a dump station, and someone is on duty at the park 24 hours a day. The campground sits along the Ohio River, and you're only a few minutes' walk from downtown Madison.
